• Hospitality HR professional brings over 22 years of experience across hotels and branded F&B operations

Pune, Maharashtra | September 2026 — Radisson Blu Pune Hinjawadi has announced the appointment of Swapnil Smita Shridhar Vaidya as Senior Human Resources Manager, strengthening its leadership team and reinforcing its focus on people development, employee engagement and operational excellence.

Swapnil brings over 22 years of professional experience, including more than 14 years in hospitality HR and hotel operations. His career spans full-service hotels, branded hospitality businesses and high-volume F&B operations, giving him extensive exposure to the people and operational requirements of the hospitality industry.

Prior to joining Radisson Blu Pune Hinjawadi, Swapnil served as HR Manager at Planet Hollywood Thane. His earlier experience includes leadership and HR roles with Sarovar Hotels, Hotel Marine Plaza, Goldfinch Hotel Mumbai, VITS Mumbai – Kamat Hotels, and SK Restaurants, associated with Chef Sanjeev Kapoor.

Over the course of his career, Swapnil has developed expertise across key areas of human resources, including manpower planning and budgeting, talent acquisition, onboarding and induction, performance management, employee engagement, learning and development, POSH compliance, statutory and labour law compliance, employee welfare, payroll coordination and HR policies and SOPs.

He has also worked closely with statutory and local authorities on matters relating to labour and other operational compliances, providing him with a practical understanding of the regulatory environment within the hospitality sector.

Academically, Swapnil holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Symbiosis College, Pune, along with a Diploma in Training & Development from the Institute of Training and Development (ISTD), New Delhi, recognised by the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

In his new role, Swapnil will oversee the hotel’s end-to-end human resources function, including talent acquisition, onboarding, learning and development, employee engagement, performance management, employee welfare, payroll coordination and statutory compliance.

His appointment comes as the hospitality sector continues to place increasing emphasis on attracting, developing and retaining talent while creating strong employee experiences that support consistent guest service.
