Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty is pleased to announce the appointment of Mohana Priya as Cluster Director of Human Resources.

KOCHI (September, 2026) – With over 22 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry, Priya brings extensive expertise in strategic human resources leadership, people development and organisational culture, with a career spanning leading luxury hotels in Chennai and across the hospitality sector.

A postgraduate in Commerce from the University of Madras and an MBA in Human Resources from ICFAI, Priya began her professional journey in manufacturing before transitioning to hospitality in 2006. Her hospitality career began with Marriott International, where her strong people management capabilities led her to transition into the Human Resources function. She subsequently held leadership roles with InterContinental Hotels & Resorts Chennai and the Hyatt family, including Hyatt Regency Chennai and Park Hyatt Chennai, where she served as Director of Human Resources from December 2019 until her latest appointment.

Priya joins Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty with a strong people-centric leadership philosophy, grounded in empathy, authenticity and accountability. Her approach focuses on building high-performing teams, fostering positive workplace cultures and creating an environment where colleagues and guests feel valued.

Her contributions to the hospitality industry have also earned significant recognition, including the Hotelier India HR Person of the Year 2025 – Upscale & Luxury award. Among the highlights of her Hyatt journey are her work in fostering inclusive workplaces and creating impactful colleague touchpoints at Park Hyatt Chennai, strengthening employee engagement and bringing the brand’s people-first culture to life.
