Ms. Mampi Biswas brings over seven years of extensive experience in People & Culture, and Learning & Development within the hospitality industry. Her expertise spans talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, compliance, and cultivating an inclusive, people-centric workplace culture.

Prior to joining Grand Mercure Ahmedabad GIFT City, she spent over two successful years as the People & Culture Manager at Mercure Lucknow Gomti Nagar, where she played a pivotal role from the pre-opening stage. She was instrumental in establishing the entire People & Culture function, successfully building the department from the ground up and leading its transformation into a fully operational and high-performing hotel. During her tenure, she also developed a strong market presence by fostering strategic relationships with leading hotel management institutes, strengthening talent acquisition initiatives, and enhancing the hotel’s employer brand.

Mampi is a Certified POSH Trainer accredited by Jijiwisha Society, a SHE-Box empanelled organization affiliated with the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. She is an active member of the Agile Network India Community and has represented the HR fraternity as both a speaker and panelists at industry conferences. Additionally, she served as a panellist at the North Zone Abilympics and Conferences 2025, reflecting her commitment to inclusive workplaces and continuous professional development.

Throughout her career, Mampi has contributed to several renowned hospitality brands, including Mercure Lucknow Gomti Nagar, Mayfair Lake Resort Raipur, Novotel Guwahati GS Road, Grand Mercure Gopalan Mall Bengaluru, and ibis Styles Mysuru(Task Force, pre-Opening), She has also been a proud participant in the Accor Career Acceleration Program, further strengthening her leadership capabilities within the Accor ecosystem.

Her diverse experience across luxury and upscale hospitality brands has enabled her to build high-performing teams, implement robust people practices, and foster a culture of collaboration, engagement, and operational excellence. She is passionate about creating meaningful employee experiences while aligning people strategies with business objectives.

Mampi, holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Literature, a Diploma in Hotel Operations, where she was awarded the Silver Medal, and an MBA in Human Resources from NMIMS University.
