Pune, October 2026:With over a decade of experience across leading international hospitality brands, Rajat Pratap Singh has been appointed as Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at The Orchid Pune. Bringing extensive expertise in food and beverage management, banquet operations and guest experience, Rajat will play a key role in overseeing the hotel’s dining and event operations while driving service excellence and operational efficiency.

In his current role, Rajat oversees food and beverage operations, including banquet and restaurant services, at the 386-room hotel, which features four dining outlets and 110,000 sq. ft. of banquet and convention facilities. His responsibilities include driving revenue growth through upselling and guest engagement, managing team performance and training, maintaining service standards, and ensuring effective inventory and cost control. With an emphasis on guest satisfaction, he brings a hands-on approach to operational management and team leadership.

Prior to joining The Orchid Pune, Rajat served as Banquet Manager at Ikshana Spa & Resort, Lonavala, where he managed end-to-end banquet operations and oversaw luxury weddings and large-scale events. His professional journey also includes associations with Hyatt Centric, Dehradun, where he led banquet operations, and Marriott Resort & Spa, Goa, where he supported large-scale events and service enhancements. He began building his foundation in food and beverage service with The Pride Plaza Hotel, Ahmedabad, followed by roles at ibis and Novotel, Bengaluru, and Radisson, Udaipur, progressively taking on greater operational and leadership responsibilities.
