Chef Amit brings a strong culinary foundation shaped by his experience across leading hospitality brands in India and international markets, including The Oberoi Rajvilas, Carnival Cruise Line, Hyatt Regency Lucknow, Marriott Indore, Hyatt Jamaica, and his current journey with Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre & HICC. With a career spanning Indian luxury hospitality, cruise line operations, and international banqueting, Chef Amit has developed a diverse culinary perspective and deep expertise across Indian, Italian, and Jamaican cuisines.
Over the years, he has developed a strong understanding of Indian regional cuisines, global culinary techniques, modern kitchen operations, large-format banqueting, and guest-led dining. His exposure to international culinary standards and multicultural dining preferences has strengthened his approach to creating contemporary, consistent, and experience-driven menus.
In his new role, Chef Amit will support the overall culinary direction of Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre & HICC, working across the hotel’s restaurants, banqueting operations, events, weddings, and bespoke dining experiences. His focus will include strengthening the property’s diverse F&B portfolio, curating personalised dining experiences, and enhancing the hotel’s culinary reputation across business, leisure, lifestyle and MICE segments.
Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre & HICC is home to a vibrant culinary ecosystem led by its signature restaurants and dining destinations. Food Exchange, the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, brings together global favourites, Indian regional cuisines, live counters and curated food festivals. Permit To Grill, the poolside grill restaurant, offers an elevated alfresco dining experience with grills, set menus, cocktails and experiential culinary evenings. The Bar serves as a lively social space with handcrafted beverages, bar-led experiences, mixology-led programming and evolving nightlife energy.
