Previously serving as the Assistant Director of HR, Sandeep’s promotion comes as a testament to his extensive expertise and his
impactful contributions to the property’s organizational culture.

With over 18 years of specialized HR experience in the hospitality industry, Sandeep has a proven track record of delivering top-tier HR solutions across prestigious brands. During his tenure as Assistant Director of HR at Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa, he successfully managed a workforce of 300+ associates and maintained an exceptional Associate Engagement Score of 95%. Notably, under his leadership, the resort increased its female workforce ratio by 4% in 2024.

Prior to joining Sheraton Grand Chennai in October 2023, Sandeep held several high-profile leadership roles across India, including Associate Director HR (Cluster Role) at The Raintree Hotels, Chennai, overseeing 550 staff members. Talent & Culture Manager (Cluster Role) at Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach and The Bheemili Resort & HR Manager at The Lalit Golf & Resort, Goa, and The Chancery Pavilion, Bangalore.

Sandeep also holds an Executive MBA in Human Resource & Training from NIBM Global (2019) and a Bachelor of Hotel Management (2007). His career is marked by numerous accolades, including the Best Employer Brand Award (2018) and a nomination for the Achievers Award (2021). In his new role as Human Resource Director, Sandeep will continue to oversee end-toend HR management, talent acquisition, and workforce engagement to further elevate the guest and associate experience at Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa.
