New Delhi, September 18, 2026: Indian Railways has approved the doubling of the 10.86-km Chouk–Karjat railway section in Maharashtra at an estimated cost of ₹497 crore, with the project aimed at increasing passenger and freight capacity on the Panvel–Chouk–Karjat route.
