The Tiranga Rally was subsequently flagged off from Udaan Bhawan. Participants carrying the National Flag proceeded towards Aviation Park at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, with the Civil Aviation Minister, Minister of State and Secretary leading the contingent.

Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2026

The rally formed part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2026, which encourages citizens to celebrate Independence Day by displaying the National Flag and participating in activities that promote national unity and pride.
The Ministry said the participation of its officers and employees reflected the spirit of unity and national pride associated with the Independence Day celebrations.
Impact on Aviation, Travel and Tourism
While the event is primarily a national celebration, the participation of India’s major aviation institutions highlights the sector’s role in supporting national connectivity and tourism.
India’s civil aviation network is a critical enabler for domestic and international travel, connecting tourists with destinations, hotels, resorts, restaurants and other hospitality businesses across the country.
For the travel and tourism industry, continued coordination across airports, airlines, aviation regulators and security agencies remains important for maintaining a safe and efficient aviation ecosystem, particularly during periods of high passenger movement around major national holidays.
