W Goa is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Arul Kumar as Director of Services. With over 15 years of experience in luxury hospitality, he brings deep expertise in housekeeping operations, quality management, and guest engagement. Recognised as a collaborative professional within Rooms Division functions, Mr. Arul has built a strong track record of driving efficiency and maintaining high standards. His industry experience and commitment to excellence make him a valuable addition to W Goa’s leadership team. 

Mr. Arul began his career in housekeeping and has since held positions with leading hospitality brands, including Four Seasons, The Ritz-Carlton and The Leela. Having worked across India, the UAE, Oman, and China, he brings an international perspective shaped by diverse luxury markets. Throughout his career, he has partnered closely with Engineering and Front Office teams to optimise room inventory, with several assignments contributing to average room profitability levels of 80% to 87%. 

In his role as Director of Services, Mr. Arul will oversee operations across housekeeping and other guest-facing functions. Working alongside the leadership team, he will focus on implementing global housekeeping initiatives, optimizing operational performance, and enhancing the overall resort journey. Known for his collaborative approach and ability to guide teams through complex assignments,  he will play a key role in fostering cross-departmental teamwork, streamlining day-to-day operations, and supporting strategic priorities that contribute to the resort’s continued success.
