Gurugram, 17th June, 2026 – DoubleTree by Hilton Gurugram Baani Square has announced the appointment of Abhay Nath Thakur as Executive Housekeeper. Bringing over a decade of experience in hospitality operations and housekeeping management. Abhay brings with him extensive experience in the hospitality industry, with a proven ability to enhance guest experiences, optimize operations, and deliver exceptional service standards across renowned hospitality brands.
In his new role, Abhay will be responsible for overseeing the hotel’s housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, guest comfort, and team performance. He will also focus on enhancing operational processes, strengthening quality benchmarks, and delivering seamless guest experiences in line with the globally recognized service standards of Hilton.
Prior to joining DoubleTree by Hilton Gurugram Baani Square, Abhay served as Assistant Executive Housekeeper at Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel. Throughout his career, he has worked across renowned Marriott International properties, including Fairfield by Marriott Goa Anjuna, Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center, Fairfield by Marriott Chennai, Courtyard by Marriott Siliguri, Fairfield by Marriott Jodhpur, Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal, and JW Marriott Bengaluru. His expertise spans housekeeping operations, budgeting and forecasting, quality assurance, team development, laundry management, and guest experience enhancement.
Known for his collaborative leadership style and operational acumen, Abhay has consistently led high-performing teams while driving guest satisfaction and service excellence. His experience across luxury, business, and upscale hospitality segments has equipped him with a deep understanding of creating memorable guest experiences through meticulous attention to detail and operational discipline.
