Having been an integral part of the hotel’s leadership team, Sangram’s elevation reflects his outstanding contributions, financial expertise, and commitment to driving operational excellence.

In his elevated role, Sangram will report to Sanjay Malhotra, Vice President – Finance Operations, South Asia, and Rahul Janve, General Manager, Courtyard by Marriott Mahabaleshwar. He will continue to lead the hotel’s financial operations, drive fiscal performance, ensure adherence to regulatory and brand standards, and support the property’s long-term business objectives. He will play a pivotal role in strengthening financial controls, optimising operational efficiencies, and contributing to the continued growth and success of the hotel.

Prior to his promotion, Sangram served as Assistant Director of Finance at Courtyard by Marriott Mahabaleshwar, where he successfully oversaw key financial functions and ensured compliance with operational and regulatory requirements. During his tenure, he played an instrumental role in streamlining financial processes, supporting business planning, and driving operational efficiencies across the property, making him a natural choice for this leadership role.

Before joining Courtyard by Marriott Mahabaleshwar, Sangram was associated with several leading hospitality brands, including Holiday Inn Pune, Hyatt Pune, and Radisson Blu Pune, where he gained extensive experience across finance and accounting functions. He has also contributed significantly to Marriott properties such as Courtyard by Marriott Siliguri and JW Marriott Goa, further strengthening his expertise in hospitality finance and business operations.

Sangram holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning and has also pursued the ICWAI (Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India) program. His dedication and contributions have been recognised through several accolades, including the prestigious “South Asia – Unsung Hero Award 2025.”

Outside of work, Sangram enjoys travelling and exploring new destinations. As he takes on this new leadership role, Sangram looks forward to further strengthening the hotel’s financial performance and contributing to the continued success of Courtyard by Marriott Mahabaleshwar.
