The appointment marks a significant milestone in Savorworks’ growth journey as it continues to evolve from a specialty coffee and bean-to-bar chocolate destination into a comprehensive café, restaurant, and bar concept.
Chef Hemant has been brought on board not only to lead the culinary operations at Savorworks’ GK2 and Gurgaon outlets, but also to play a pivotal role in the brand’s long-term Pan-India expansion strategy. His appointment reflects Savorworks’ vision of creating a consistent, elevated dining experience across future locations, ensuring that the food program grows alongside its already celebrated coffee, chocolate, bakery, and beverage offerings.
While Savorworks has built a strong reputation for its specialty coffee, artisanal chocolates, innovative beverages, and exceptional baked goods, the brand is now taking its culinary experience to the next level under Chef Hemant’s leadership. His expertise, creativity, and operational excellence will help further enhance the food program, creating a more holistic and memorable guest experience that complements Savorworks’ existing strengths.
Chef Hemant Bisht has been working in professional kitchens for over 13 years and brings extensive experience across luxury hospitality, premium dining, and fine-dining establishments. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong ability to balance creativity with precision, while successfully leading kitchen teams, designing menus, streamlining operations, and mentoring culinary talent. His leadership style focuses on bringing out the best in people and fostering collaborative environments that drive both innovation and consistency.
Chef Hemant began his journey in hospitality with formal education at ITM Dehradun, laying a strong foundation in culinary and hospitality management. He further honed his skills through professional training at Jaypee Residency Manor, Mussoorie, followed by valuable experience at Ananda in the Himalayas, one of India’s most renowned luxury wellness retreats.
He started his professional career in Chandigarh, where he gained hands-on experience in culinary operations and kitchen management. Building on this foundation, he joined InterContinental Chennai, where he further refined his culinary expertise, strengthened his operational acumen, and expanded his understanding of delivering exceptional dining experiences within a luxury hospitality environment.
Over the years, Chef Hemant has worked with some of the hospitality industry’s most respected names, including Indigo Hospitality and Passcode Hospitality’s SAZ. He also played a key leadership role at Mesa Kitchen & Bar, where he was responsible for overseeing kitchen operations and driving culinary innovation.
In his new role, Chef Hemant will lead the culinary vision across Savorworks Coffee & Chocolate’s outlets, ensuring excellence in food quality, menu development, kitchen operations, and team management. He will work closely with the coffee, chocolate, bakery, and beverage teams to create cohesive dining experiences that reflect the brand’s philosophy of craftsmanship and innovation.
More importantly, Chef Hemant’s appointment is closely aligned with Savorworks’ ambitions for PAN India growth. As the brand prepares for its next phase of expansion, he will play an integral role in building scalable culinary systems, developing future menus, mentoring teams, and maintaining consistency across upcoming locations. His expertise will be instrumental in shaping the culinary identity of Savorworks as it expands its footprint across India.
