June 2026 | New Delhi, India: JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity is delighted to announce the appointment of Chef Khadija Kumcheang as Chef de Cuisine – Asian at K3 – New Delhi’s Food Theatre. Bringing over 15 years of international culinary experience, Chef Khadija joins 

the hotel to lead its Asian culinary programme, enriching K3’s celebrated live kitchens with the authentic flavours and vibrant traditions of Thailand and the wider Asian region. Originally from Khon Kaen in Thailand’s Isan region, Chef Khadija’s culinary philosophy is rooted in the balance of bold flavours, fresh ingredients and time-honoured techniques that define Thai cuisine. Inspired by both the rustic traditions of Isan and the refined flavours of Central Thailand, she is passionate about creating dishes that honour their origins while appealing to today’s discerning diners. 

Chef Khadija has built an accomplished culinary career with Marriott International and leading luxury hospitality brands in the Middle East, specialising in Pan-Asian cuisine and luxury dining. Most recently, she served as Senior Sous Chef at Lapita, Dubai Parks and Resorts, Autograph Collection, where she led the opening and day-to-day culinary operations of the hotel’s signature Pan-Asian restaurant. Prior to this, she spent over three years with JW Marriott Dubai, gaining extensive experience across specialty dining, all-day dining, banquet operations and large-scale culinary production. Her international experience has shaped a distinctive culinary style that combines authenticity with precision and consistency. 

In her new role, Chef Khadija will oversee the Asian culinary offerings at K3, curating seasonal menus and signature dishes that celebrate the rich diversity of Asian cuisine. Guests can look forward to authentic Thai specialities inspired by her roots, alongside thoughtfully crafted Pan-Asian favourites prepared live across K3’s interactive kitchens. Her focus will be on delivering immersive dining experiences that celebrate fresh ingredients, balanced flavours and the warmth of Asian hospitality.
