Chennai, September 2026: Hyatt Regency Chennai is pleased to announce the appointment of Shranoth Suresh as Director of Sales, bringing with him over 15 years of experience across hospitality, sales and marketing, and commercial leadership.

A Chennai native, Shranoth returns to the city with extensive experience across leading global hospitality brands and a strong understanding of the evolving business and hospitality landscape. In his new role, he will spearhead the hotel’s sales strategy, strengthen key partnerships, drive business growth and further enhance Hyatt Regency Chennai’s market presence.

Before joining Hyatt Regency Chennai, Shranoth held a key leadership role at Renaissance Bengaluru, where he built a strong track record in sales and commercial leadership. His career journey has also included associations with renowned hospitality brands such as ITC Hotels, Hilton and Marriott, giving him valuable cross-cultural exposure and a well-rounded perspective of the industry.

For Shranoth, hospitality goes beyond business—it is about people and the experiences created through every interaction. His leadership approach focuses on building strong teams, nurturing lasting relationships and ensuring that guests and partners feel valued, cared for and special.

Shranoth holds an MBA and PGD in Hospitality Management from HTMi, Sorenberg, Switzerland, strengthening his strategic and commercial expertise. Among his career highlights is earning a place in the President’s Circle in 2024, recognising his performance, commitment and leadership.

A passionate sports enthusiast, Shranoth particularly enjoys cycling, which he credits with teaching him discipline, patience and perspective. His personal motto, “Work hard but work smart,” reflects his grounded approach to both leadership and life.
