Gurugram, India: Club Zion, a premium lifestyle and hospitality destination under Pioneer Urban Land & Infrastructure Ltd., has announced the promotion of Chef Jaipal Singh as Executive Sous Chef, recognizing his outstanding culinary leadership and rich experience across some of India’s most prestigious hospitality brands.
Chef Jaipal Singh has been a key force behind the successful pre-opening of Club Zion, where he continues to lead food operations with a strong focus on innovation, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. His elevation reflects his consistent performance and ability to build high-performing culinary teams.
Before taking on this leadership role at Club Zion, Chef Jaipal honed his expertise at renowned hospitality brands such as DLF Magnolias Club and Radisson Blu, Mahipalpur, New Delhi, where he built a strong foundation in luxury dining and large-scale kitchen operations.
At DLF Magnolias Club, one of Gurugram’s most exclusive luxury clubs, he served as Junior Sous Chef, working closely with the Executive Chef to manage kitchen operations, streamline workflows, and ensure adherence to the highest standards of quality and consistency. He played a vital role in team supervision, training, and maintaining strict recipe standardization while driving cost and material efficiency.
Earlier, at Radisson Blu, Mahipalpur, a globally recognized hospitality brand, Chef Jaipal was instrumental in elevating buffet experiences, implementing cyclic menus, and conceptualizing themed culinary festivals. He ensured adherence to HACCP standards, strengthened kitchen processes, and contributed to profitability through effective food cost and inventory management. Notably, he collaborated with internationally acclaimed Michelin-starred Chef Marco Pedrelli and Chef Johnny Meitei, further enriching his culinary expertise.
At Club Zion, Chef Jaipal currently oversees end-to-end kitchen operations, including menu engineering, cost optimization, team training, and food safety compliance. He has been actively involved in introducing new culinary concepts, upgrading menus, and planning long-term kitchen infrastructure, while ensuring alignment with FSSAI standards and audit requirements.
