Tree Plantation Promotes Environmental Responsibility
Addressing the campaign, Prof. S. P. Singh Baghel highlighted the significance of “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”, a campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Minister said the initiative connects environmental conservation with the affection and care associated with mothers. He also emphasised that the trees planted during the campaign should be nurtured and cared for so that they can contribute to future generations.
The campaign therefore combined tree plantation with a message of sustained environmental responsibility rather than limiting the activity to planting alone.
Cleanliness Drive at AQCS Campus

A cleanliness drive was also carried out at the AQCS campus under the leadership of the Minister.
The initiative aimed to promote cleanliness as part of everyday lifestyle and reinforce participation in cleanliness activities.
The Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 campaign is being undertaken with the theme “Participation in Cleanliness; Clean India, Developed India.” The campaign emphasises public participation as an important component of achieving a developed India.
Impact on Hospitality and Tourism
The campaign’s focus on clean surroundings, greenery and environmental responsibility aligns with broader sustainability priorities relevant to the hospitality and tourism sectors.
Clean and well-maintained public and institutional spaces contribute to the overall visitor environment, while tree plantation and green-area maintenance can complement sustainability initiatives adopted by hotels, resorts and tourism destinations.
The PIB release, however, does not announce any specific hospitality or tourism project linked to the AQCS campaign.
