Indian Railways has approved a new tri-weekly Amrit Bharat Express between Bhuj in Gujarat and Barauni in Bihar, creating a direct rail connection across 2,532 km and four states—Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
The new service will provide an additional long-distance travel option across western and eastern India, linking a wide range of urban centres and destinations along its route. For the travel and hospitality sector, the extended connectivity could support greater movement of leisure travellers, business passengers and visitors between multiple tourism markets.

2,532-km Rail Corridor Links Four States
Train No. 19427 Bhuj–Barauni Amrit Bharat Express will depart Bhuj at 5:30 PM and arrive at Barauni at 4:05 AM on the fourth day, completing the journey in 58 hours and 35 minutes.
In the reverse direction, Train No. 19428 Barauni–Bhuj Amrit Bharat Express will leave Barauni at 11:55 PM and reach Bhuj at 1:15 PM on the fourth day, with a journey time of 61 hours and 20 minutes.
The service will operate three times a week, providing another option for passengers travelling across a large part of northern and western India.

The route includes commercial stoppages at a wide network of stations, including Samakhiali, Ahmedabad, Ratlam, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Bharatpur, Mathura, Hathras, Bareilly, Izzatnagar, Pilibhit, Lakhimpur, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Siwan, Chhapra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur and Samastipur.
