Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Grand Mercure Ahmedabad GIFT City is pleased to announce the appointment of Abhimanyu Kumar as Housekeeping Manager, strengthening the hotel’s leadership team and its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and high standards of service.

Abhimanyu brings over 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong background in housekeeping operations, guest satisfaction, team leadership, quality standards, training, inventory management and operational excellence. His professional journey spans leading hospitality brands including Marriott, Hyatt, Hard Rock, Radisson Blu and IHG Hotels.

Prior to joining Grand Mercure Ahmedabad GIFT City, Abhimanyu served as Housekeeping Manager at Fairfield by Marriott Anjuna Goa, where he was responsible for department operations, guest satisfaction, service standards, staffing, inventory management, training, quality assurance and property management. He has also held housekeeping leadership roles with Holiday Inn Express Whitefield ITPL Bengaluru, Hard Rock Hotel Goa, Holiday Inn Express Pune and Hyatt Centric Candolim Goa.

Throughout his career, Abhimanyu has demonstrated expertise in service standards implementation, guest engagement and issue resolution, quality control, team development, inventory planning and property upgrades. His experience in people management and operational excellence will further support the hotel’s focus on maintaining impeccable hygiene, cleanliness and service standards.

An alumnus of IHM Hajipur, Abhimanyu holds a Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology.
