10 July 2026, Goa, India: The Westin Goa is pleased to announce the appointment of Zefan Rodrigues as its new Director of Finance. Bringing with him over seven years of experience
across luxury hospitality brands, Zefan will lead the hotel’s financial strategy with a focus on driving profitability, strengthening governance, and enabling data-led decision-making.

Most recently serving as Associate Director of Finance at The St. Regis Goa Resort, Zefan has built a strong track record in financial planning, operational leadership, compliance, and
process transformation. During his tenure, he successfully led end-to-end finance operations, partnered closely with executive leadership and ownership teams, and played a key role in
enhancing business performance through strategic planning and operational efficiencies.

Over the course of his career, Zefan has worked across Marriott International and Hyatt properties, gaining experience in pre-opening projects, hotel transitions, budgeting,
forecasting, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. He has been instrumental in implementing innovative financial tools, including a live Profit & Loss tracking system that
enabled real-time departmental performance monitoring and strengthened decision-making across functions.

Known for his analytical approach and collaborative leadership style, Zefan has consistently focused on building high-performing teams while driving process improvements and maintaining robust internal control frameworks. His expertise spans budgeting, Capex planning, US GAAP accounting, cost optimisation, and financial governance.

His contributions have been recognised through several accolades, including the Unsung Hero Award at the South Asia Director of Finance Conference 2025, HOD of the Quarter and Outstanding Leader Award at The St. Regis Goa Resort, along with multiple performance recognitions throughout his career.

In his new role, Zefan will oversee all aspects of finance at The Westin Goa, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance, and business performance analysis.
Working closely with the hotel’s leadership team, he will focus on strengthening financialdiscipline, improving operational efficiencies, and supporting the property’s long-term growth
strategy.
