In his new role, Hucek will oversee day-to-day operations across the expansive 452-room, 30-acre oceanfront property, including guest services, food and beverage operations, team development and strategic growth initiatives. He will also help expand the resort’s wellness offerings and family-friendly programming designed to further position The Ellie and DoubleTree as one of Myrtle Beach’s premier resort destinations.

Known for his collaborative and people-first leadership style, Hucek brings a strong background in operational performance, team engagement and guest experience management across full-service and lifestyle hospitality properties. Prior to joining The Ellie Beach Resort and DoubleTree, Hucek served as general manager at Evolution Hospitality in California, where he earned the company’s Rookie of the Year Award for his leadership and operational impact. He also held leadership positions with Greenwood Hospitality and brings extensive multi-unit sales management experience, giving him a strong background in revenue growth, brand positioning and guest engagement.
