CHENNAI, INDIA – Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa announces the appointment of Pallavi Mishra as its new Director of Food & Beverage. With over 15 years of robust hospitality experience spanning luxury hotels, premium brands, and large-scale event operations, Pallavi steps in to helm the resort’s coastal culinary portfolio, distinct dining outlets, and premier banqueting spaces.

Pallavi joins the property from Hotel Yak & Yeti and the Lal Durbar Convention Center in Kathmandu, Nepal, where she served as Director of Food & Beverage. During her tenure at the luxury heritage property, she strategically led five distinct F&B outlets and successfully managed large-scale conferences, weddings, and high-profile events. 

A specialist in hotel pre-openings and operational excellence, Pallavi has successfully launched four major properties in India: IBIS Styles Mysore, JW Marriott Jaipur, Kochi Marriott, and Bengaluru Marriott Whitefield. Her extensive track record also includes serving as Associate Director of Food & Beverage at JW Marriott Kolkata—one of Eastern India’s largest luxury setups—where she managed a team of over 120 associates and directed a high-volume business portfolio generating over 120 crores in annual revenue.

Her diverse professional journey features key leadership roles including Regional Business Head (B2B Horeca, South India & Goa) for Big Basket (A Tata Enterprise) , Food & Beverage Manager at Grand Mercure Bangalore , and Associate Director of Events at Hyatt Ahmedabad. Known for precision in high-volume banqueting, she has successfully managed catering operations for premier sporting events, including the Indian Super League (ISL), Indian Premier League (IPL), and the FIFA World Cup. She began her career as an F&B Associate at The Leela Palace, Bangalore in 2010.
