Candolim, Goa – September 2026: Novotel Goa Candolim is pleased to announce the promotion of Gnanavel Dhanabalan to Executive Housekeeper, recognising his dedication, leadership and over a decade of experience with Accor.

Gnanavel began his Accor journey in 2014 with Novotel Chennai Sipcot and has over 14 years of overall hospitality experience across Housekeeping and Laundry operations. Over the years, he has taken on various leadership roles across Accor properties in Chennai, Vijayawada and Goa, gaining extensive expertise in hotel operations and people management.

In his current role as Executive Housekeeper at Novotel Goa Candolim, Gnanavel focuses on operational excellence, guest satisfaction, team development and continuous improvement, ensuring high standards across the property. Prior to this, he worked at the Novotel Goa Resort & Spa as Laundry Manager improving operational efficiency. Apart from this Gnanavel has successfully led multiple brand and compliance audits, contributed to guestroom and property refurbishment projects.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Gnanavel enjoys cooking and discovering new food experiences, as well as exploring the diverse cultures and traditions of different destinations.
