A highly respected hospitality leader, Gorav brings over 24 years of extensive experience across some of the world’s most admired hotel brands, reinforcing the hotel’s commitment to excellence, people-first leadership, and purposeful growth. Gorav’s distinguished career spans leading global hospitality companies including Hyatt Hotels, The Oberoi Group, and Accor, where he successfully completed multiple leadership

assignments with each organization.

His professional journey has taken him across key Indian markets such as Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Jaipur, equipping him with a deep understanding of diverse guest profiles, market dynamics, and culturally rooted luxury. Gorav began his journey with Marriott International at Jaipur Marriott Hotel, where he served as General Manager for nearly three years. Under his leadership, the hotel recorded strong year-on-year performance, enhanced guest satisfaction, and strengthened its market positioning. Known for his people-centric approach, strategic acumen, and operational discipline, Gorav embodies a leadership approach that places people at the core while consistently raising standards of performance and service.

In his new role at JW Marriott Kolkata, Gorav will spearhead the hotel’s strategic vision, drive operational excellence while nurturing a culture rooted in integrity, agility, and social responsibility. His leadership philosophy closely aligns with Marriott’s guiding principles of Embracing Change, and Acting with Integrity ensuring that commercial success is achieved alongside meaningful community engagement, strong talent development, and trusted stakeholder partnerships.
