IHG Hotels & Resorts South West Asia promotes Shuvendu Banerjee as Area General Manager

Mr. Shuvendu Banerjee has been promoted to the role of an Area General Manager at IHG Hotels and Resorts Southwest Asia. Alongside this expanded responsibility, he will continue to serve as General Manager of Holiday

Mr. Shuvendu Banerjee has been promoted to the role of an Area General Manager at IHG Hotels and Resorts Southwest Asia. Alongside this expanded responsibility, he will continue to serve as General Manager of Holiday Inn New Delhi Aerocity.  In this expanded leadership position, he will oversee strategic operations, guest experience excellence, commercial performance and organisational growth across the assigned portfolio, while continuing to strengthen operational standards and business outcomes within one of the region’s prominent hospitality destinations. Prior to this he has held several leadership roles within IHG Hotels and Resorts-including General Manager positions at Crowne Plaza Today Gurugram, Crowne Plaza Okhla and Crowne Plaza Kochi and Crowne Plaza Rohini and he also built a strong foundation in commercial through leadership roles with Radisson Hotel Group, ITC Welcomgroup, and Jaypee Hotels & Resorts.

With more than two decades of experience in hospitality, Shuvendu has built a successful career through strong leadership, dedication and a passion for guest service. Under his leadership, Holiday Inn New Delhi Aerocity has continued to strengthen its position within the market, driven by a culture of service excellence, innovation, and people-first leadership.
