Bengaluru, July 2026: Hilton Bangalore Embassy GolfLinks has announced the appointment of Asutosh Mohapatra as its new Security Manager. With over a decade of experience in hospitality security and loss prevention, Asutosh brings extensive expertise in risk assessment, crisis management, investigations, audits, fire and life safety, and security operations management.

In his new role, Mohapatra will oversee the hotel’s security function, focusing on asset protection, guest and associate safety, incident response, regulatory compliance, fire and life safety protocols, and overall security operations. He will play a key role in strengthening the hotel’s safety culture while supporting operational excellence across the property.

Prior to joining Hilton Bangalore Embassy GolfLinks, Mohapatra built a distinguished career across leading hospitality brands including Marriott International and Hyatt Hotels, progressing through several key security leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Loss Prevention Manager at Mulberry Shades Bengaluru Nandi Hills – A Tribute Portfolio Resort. His previous assignments include Assistant Security Manager at Hyatt Hyderabad Gachibowli, along with security roles at Four Points by Sheraton Visakhapatnam, Le Méridien Hyderabad, and Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre/Courtyard by Marriott Hyderabad.

His expertise spans security operations, risk mitigation, liaison with police and fire authorities, event security planning, contractual security management, CCTV surveillance, investigations, access control systems, fire prevention and life safety management, as well as compliance with brand audit standards including ISRA, BSA, MIRA, MIP-30, and SMOR.

Mohapatra has completed multiple professional certifications and training programmes in fire prevention, firefighting, first aid, AED response, CCTV, visitor management systems, and leadership development. He is also a Certified Departmental Trainer and has attended Marriott leadership programmes such as Embark and Envision. Over the years, he has been recognised for his contributions with accolades including the Outstanding Dedication & Handling Special Situations Award 2024 for APEC – South Asia Marriott International, along with several other performance recognitions.
