Mahabaleshwar, 28th April 2026: Courtyard by Marriott Mahabaleshwar is pleased to announce the appointment of Ranjita Das as its new Assistant Manager – Learning & Development. With over five years of diverse experience in the hospitality industry, Ranjita brings with her a strong background in team development, operational excellence, guest engagement, and talent training.

In her new role, Ranjita will be responsible for driving the hotel’s learning and development initiatives, focusing on enhancing employee capabilities, strengthening the service culture, and creating impactful training programs aligned with Marriott’s global standards of excellence. She will play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous learning, leadership development, and employee engagement across departments.

Commenting on her appointment, Rahul Janve, General Manager, Courtyard by Marriott Mahabaleshwar, said, “We are delighted to welcome Ranjita Das to our leadership team. Before joining Courtyard by Marriott Mahabaleshwar, Ranjita was associated with renowned hospitality brands, including The Leela Palace, New Delhi, where she served as Assistant Restaurant Manager. During her tenure, she was actively involved in staff scheduling, onboarding and training new team members, implementing sales-driven strategies, and improving operational efficiencies. She also successfully led the Diwali gifting project, delivering notable profitability and introducing contemporary product offerings aligned with market trends.

Earlier in her career, she worked with Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru, where she held positions as F&B Supervisor and IRD Order Taker, gaining valuable expertise in guest services, team coordination, and high-end hospitality operations. She has also worked with Lemon Tree Premiere Hyderabad, further strengthening her operational knowledge and service orientation.

Ranjita holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Management from NCHMCT, Noida, and has additionally completed certifications in Inclusive Leadership and Unconscious Bias, reflecting her commitment to progressive people practices and workplace inclusivity.

With her people-first approach and commitment to excellence, Ranjita is set to contribute meaningfully to the continued growth and success of Courtyard by Marriott Mahabaleshwar.
