Farzi Café Seattle proudly welcomes Chef Pankaj Joshi as its Sous Chef, bringing extensive experience in Indian cuisine, luxury hospitality, and international culinary operations to the restaurant’s dynamic kitchen leadership team.
Chef Pankaj Joshi is recognized for his expertise in authentic Indian flavors, curry specialization, and modern culinary execution developed through years of experience across renowned hospitality brands in India and the United States. In his new role at Farzi Café Seattle, he will support kitchen operations, menu development, team leadership, and guest dining experiences while contributing to the brand’s innovative approach to contemporary Indian cuisine.
Before joining Farzi Café Seattle, Chef Joshi worked as an Indian Cuisine Chef at Sanjh Creative Indian Restaurant & Bar in Irving, Texas, where he played a key role in delivering elevated Indian dining experiences and authentic regional flavors to guests in the Dallas area.
Chef Joshi also served as a Junior Sous Chef (Indian Cuisine) at the prestigious Leela Ambience Convention Hotel Delhi, one of India’s leading luxury hospitality destinations. During his tenure at The Leela, he gained valuable experience in fine dining operations, banquet management, high-volume kitchen execution, and premium Indian cuisine preparation.
His culinary journey also includes working as Chef de Partie in Indian Curry at Leela Ambience Convention Hotel Delhi, Demi Chef de Partie at ANDAZ Hyatt New Delhi, Commi-1 at Hotel Hans Plaza New Delhi, Commi-2 at Park Plaza Hotel Noida, and Commi-2 Indian Curry at Country Inn & Suites by Carlson Sahibabad.
Throughout his career, Chef Joshi has developed expertise in Indian curry preparation, kitchen management, culinary operations, team coordination, and modern presentation techniques while maintaining authenticity and consistency in flavor.
