Acclaimed culinary professional Chef Satish Prasad has been appointed as the Executive Chef at Farzi Café, marking an exciting new chapter in his distinguished hospitality career. Prior to this role, Chef Prasad was associated with Riga Foods as Executive Chef (Catering), where he played a key role in driving culinary innovation and operational excellence.
With over two decades of rich experience across luxury hotels, international cruise liners, and premium hospitality brands, Chef Prasad brings global expertise and a refined culinary vision to Farzi Café Seattle. His appointment reflects the brand’s commitment to elevating guest experiences through creative gastronomy and exceptional culinary leadership.
A classically trained chef with a deep passion for world cuisine, Chef Prasad is widely recognized for his expertise in menu development, kitchen operations, team leadership, and maintaining the highest food safety and quality standards. His culinary philosophy seamlessly combines international techniques with authentic flavours, resulting in innovative dishes that appeal to a diverse and evolving audience.
Over the years, Chef Prasad has held leadership positions with some of the hospitality industry’s most respected names, including The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Andaz Delhi, Shangri-La Eros New Delhi, Hyatt Regency Delhi, The Suryaa New Delhi, and Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels.
One of the defining highlights of his career was his eight-year tenure with Carnival Cruise Line in Florida, USA, where he mastered high-volume culinary operations and international cuisine management while catering to guests from around the world. This global exposure strengthened his ability to perform under pressure while consistently delivering memorable dining experiences.
Throughout his professional journey, Chef Prasad has demonstrated excellence in kitchen management, cost control, inventory optimization, waste reduction, and team mentoring. His leadership style focuses on operational efficiency while fostering creativity and collaboration within culinary teams.
