Bringing over a decade of progressive experience across marquee luxury hospitality brands, Debalina is widely regarded for her ability to translate operational strategy into consistently high-impact guest experiences. Her expertise spans pre-opening execution, revenue optimization, service design, and talent development, positioning her as a transformative leader within the rooms ecosystem.
Most recently, as Rooms Division Manager at JW Marriott Prestige Golfshire, Bengaluru, she was instrumental in steering the property through a successful pre-opening and stabilization phase. She led the creation of operational frameworks, instituted service excellence benchmarks, and built a high-performing team of over 50 associates. Under her leadership, the property delivered strong guest satisfaction outcomes, consistently achieving scores upwards of 85% across key experience metrics, while maintaining disciplined cost controls and driving rooms revenue performance.
Debalina’s leadership philosophy is anchored in visibility, accountability, and precision execution. She is known for fostering a culture of ownership within teams, while maintaining a sharp focus on guest feedback intelligence, enabling agile service recovery and continuous improvement. Her professional journey includes key leadership roles with JW Marriott, Sheraton Grand Bangalore at Brigade Gateway, and Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield, where she played a pivotal role in strengthening front office operations, enhancing guest engagement frameworks, and driving upsell and ancillary revenue streams.
A recognized industry talent, Debalina was named among the top contenders for Front Office Manager of the Year (Luxury to Upper Upscale) at the Hotelier India Awards 2023. She has also contributed significantly to multiple hotel openings and cross-functional training initiatives across South Asia, reinforcing her reputation as a capability builder and culture driver.
An alumnus of Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland, she brings a global perspective complemented by deep market understanding of India’s luxury hospitality landscape.
