Mumbai, May 2026: Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport has strengthened its leadership team with two experienced professionals who bring deep expertise in human resources, talent development and associate engagement. The hotel has appointed Sunanda Sathish as Director of Human Resources and Anusikha Paul as Training Manager, two professionals whose journeys, though different, converge on a shared conviction that great hospitality begins long before a guest walks through the door, and begins with the people who show up every day to make it happen.
With over 25 years within Marriott International, Sunanda’s journey reflects extensive experience in people leadership and workplace culture. Over the years, she has grown within the organization, from Human Resources Manager at the erstwhile Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel and JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, to leadership roles at The Westin Hyderabad and Pune. Her career has been defined by a people-centric approach to hiring, talent development and creating workplaces where associates feel empowered to grow.

Sunanda now brings that depth of experience to the Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai. “I am delighted to join the Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport team,” she said. “Having spent my career within Marriott International, I deeply understand the values and culture that define the brand. I look forward to working closely with the team to foster a workplace where every associate feels valued, empowered and inspired to deliver their best.”
Anusikha Paul’s journey in hospitality has spanned diverse roles across leading international hotel brands, from Hygiene Officer to Learning & Development positions, where she played a key role in shaping training culture and soft skills development. She also holds a PG Diploma in Training & Development along with a Master of Science in Microbiology, reflecting her detail-oriented approach, curiosity and commitment to continuous learning.

As the Training Manager, she brings that same rigour to the art of developing people. “Learning and development is not just about training, it is about unlocking potential and equipping our associates with the skills and confidence to create memorable guest experiences,” she shared. “I look forward to delivering meaningful development programmes that nurture talent and support the hotel’s vision of excellence.”
Together, Sunanda and Anusikha represent something more than two new appointments. They reflect the clear direction in which Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport is headed, a property that understands its greatest asset isn’t the brick and mortar, but its people.
