Chennai, 2026: Hyatt Regency Chennai is delighted to welcome Akanksha Tomar as Learning & Development Manager, a people-focused learning professional who brings her passion for helping others grow.

Akanksha brings experience in training and people development across several organisations. She worked as Training In-Charge at Freedom Employability Academy, then as Corporate Trainer at Sunstone and as Assistant Manager – Learning & Development at DSE Technologies. Most recently, she was Assistant Manager – Learning & Development at Hyatt Regency Lucknow, where she supported the growth of employees and trainees through practical learning initiatives.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s in Organisational Psychology and a PGD in Training & Development from the Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD).

At Hyatt Regency Chennai, Akanksha will lead learning and development for our associates and trainees. She will design practical training that builds confidence, strengthens skills and improves performance, and she will support every associate’s growth. Her background in psychology helps her understand people and their needs, so that learning here stays relevant and meaningful.
