JW Marriott Ranthambore Resort and Spa announces the leadership appointments of Devender Rohilla as Director of Sales and Marketing, Praveen Dubey as Director of Operations, and Lalit Daswani as Director of Finance. All three have been part of the resort’s leadership journey since its pre-opening phase, playing an integral role in the property’s development and opening across their respective functions. 

With its proximity to Ranthambore National Park, the resort is poised to welcome a new season of wildlife-led travel while continuing to build its identity as a contemporary luxury address rooted in the landscape. These leadership announcements come at an important juncture for the resort, as the reopening of the park’s core zones brings renewed momentum to Ranthambore and the region’s luxury travel ecosystem.

Lalit Daswani, Director of Finance, joins from The Westin Goa, where he served as Director of Finance from the property’s pre-opening phase. His experience in pre-opening environments and complex hospitality operations brings an important perspective to the resort as it moves from its opening chapter into a period of sustained operational and commercial growth.  Lalit’s career spans finance leadership roles at The Leela Gandhinagar and Mahatma Mandir Convention Center, Hotel Leelaventure Limited, and Renaissance Hotel Lucknow, alongside earlier experience with Jaipur Marriott Hotel and The Oberoi Rajvilas.

Praveen Dubey, Director of Operations, joins from Trident Hyderabad, where he served as Director of Food and Beverage, overseeing one of the hotel’s key guest-facing functions.  A graduate of IHM Bhubaneswar, Praveen began his career with The Oberoi Group as an Operations Trainee and has since progressed through a range of leadership roles spanning food and beverage and resort operations with The Oberoi Vanyavilas, Sawai Madhopur, The Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur, and The Oberoi Wildflower Hall, Shimla. His experience combines commercial understanding with a strong focus on service culture, team development and the nuances of luxury guest experience.

Meanwhile, Devender Rohilla, Director of Sales and Marketing, most recently served as Director of Sales at JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort and Spa, where he led the property’s commercial strategy through a pivotal phase of growth. His career spans leadership roles at Westin Sohna Resort and Spa, Le Méridien Paro Riverfront in Bhutan, and several IHG properties across India, giving him extensive exposure to both domestic and international travel markets. At JW Marriott Ranthambore Resort and Spa, Devender’s mandate will centre on deepening the resort’s presence across priority markets while building sustained demand for Ranthambore as a luxury wildlife destination.

Together, Devender, Praveen, and Lalit bring complementary expertise shaped by renowned names in Indian and international hospitality. As the destination welcomes renewed interest from domestic and international travelers, the team will focus on strengthening the resort market presence, elevating the guest journey across its accommodation, dining, wellness, and experiential offerings.
