Mumbai, 22^nd September 2026: Moxy Mumbai has announced the appointment of Riya D’souza as human resource manager, bringing with her over five years of experience in human resources within the hospitality industry.

In her new role, D’souza will be responsible for driving key human resource functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning and development, employee life cycle management and HR operations.

Riya joins Moxy Mumbai Andheri West from The Westin Mumbai Garden City, where she served as Assistant Manager – Human Resources since September 2023. During her tenure, she handled recruitment and selection, onboarding and exit formalities, employee engagement, leave and attendance, training, vendor management and administration.

Prior to The Westin, D’souza spent over four years with Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport, where she worked as a Human Resources Executive, managing payroll, recruitment and selection, onboarding and exit formalities, leave and attendance, and training. Her earlier hospitality experience includes a stint with The Machan Resorts.

Over the course of her career, D’souza has been recognized for her contribution to the hospitality industry, having received the Executive of the Year – 2022 award for Heart of the House. She also successfully completed Marriott International’s Leadership Development Program (LEAD) in April 2023.

An MBA in Human Resources Management from NMIMS, D’souza also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies from Mumbai University.

With experience spanning employee engagement, talent management and core HR operations, D’souza appointment comes as Moxy Mumbai Andheri West continues to focus on strengthening its people practices and fostering an engaged workplace culture.
