Bengaluru, September 2026: Moxy Bengaluru Airport Prestige Tech Cloudhas announced the appointment of Jegan Babu as Food & Beverage Manager, bringing with him over a decade of experience across leading international hospitality brands in India, the UAE and the United States.

In his new role at, Jegan will oversee the property’s food and beverage operations, with a focus on delivering consistent guest experience, driving operational efficiency and supporting the hotel’s commercial and business objectives. He will also be responsible for team development, menu planning, quality standards and ensuring adherence to brand and food safety protocols.

Jegan joins Moxy Bengaluru from Westin Mina Seyahi, Dubai, where he served as Complex Restaurant Manager, managing the daily operations of Pool , Beach & Waterpark operations and leading a team of 43 members. His responsibilities included commercial planning, competitor analysis, guest satisfaction, menu planning, budgeting and forecasting, as well as talent development and operational compliance.

Prior to this, he held multiple roles with Hilton Dubai Jumeirah, progressing from Senior Head Waiter to Assistant Restaurant Manager and subsequently Cluster Restaurant Manager. His earlier experience includes stints with JA Resorts & Hotels, Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort, Fujairah, and Oceana Cruises, Miami, giving him diverse exposure across resort, hotel and cruise hospitality environments.

A passionate food and beverage professional, Jegan has also been recognised for his expertise in beverage management. He was the Grand Winner of the Sommelier Challenge at the Hilton F&B Masters 2018 for Asia Pacific & Turkey and was also the 1st Runner-Up at the Middle East & Africa level. He was subsequently shortlisted for the Caterer Award – Sommelier of the Year.

With a background in Hotel Management and Tourism from Annamalai University and a Diploma in Hotel Management from Loyola College, Jegan combines operational expertise with strengths in financial planning, team leadership, training, guest engagement and business strategy.
