Hyderabad Marriott Hotel and Convention Centre, Courtyard by Marriott Hyderabad is pleased to announce the appointment of Chef Satya Kumar as Multi- Property Executive Chef. A distinguished culinary professional with more than 20 years of experience across India’s leading luxury hospitality brands, Chef Satya brings a unique blend of classical technique, operational excellence, and regional culinary storytelling to the hotels’ kitchens. His appointment marks an exciting step in strengthening the properties’ culinary vision through innovation, authenticity, and memorable guest experiences.

Chef Satya began his journey with Marriott International and has since built a distinguished career across renowned hospitality brands, including JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity, Taj Falaknuma Palace, Park Hyatt Hyderabad, JW Marriott Pune, Bengaluru Marriott Whitefield and Sheraton Hyderabad. Over the years, he has led large kitchen teams, introduced thoughtful menu innovations and was recognised as the winner of Hyatt’s Good Food Series 2019. 

In his new role, Chef Satya will oversee the hotels’ culinary operations, guiding menu development, kitchen performance and team mentorship across its dining venues. Beyond his expertise in menu engineering and food cost control, he also brings a distinctive perspective shaped by an eight-month exploration of the culinary traditions of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, where he studied regional recipes, ingredients and cooking techniques. This blend of operational expertise and deep appreciation for local flavours will support the hotel’s commitment to delivering thoughtful and memorable dining experiences. His diverse experience and leadership approach will further strengthen the cluster’s culinary vision.
