Mumbai, July 15: The Hotel And Restaurant Association (Western India) – HRAWI organized FSSAI’s latest Food Safety Supervisor Training in Advance Catering (FoSTaC) at Hotel Manoshanti in Goa on 14^th July, 2026. Covering essential topics including food handling, hygiene, sanitation and waste management, the training program conducted by Mr Praveen Andrews – Trainer, Parikshan FSS Pvt Ltd. Thirty hospitality professionals participated in the program aimed at imparting practical insights on strengthening food safety measures and reinforcing industry best practices. The training session was inaugurated by Mr Praveen Andrews and Ms Trupti Pawar – Secretary General, HRAWI.

HRAWI takes FoSTaC training extremely seriously and has consistently worked towards strengthening food safety standards across the hospitality industry. HRAWI has successfully trained and certified 3,921 hospitality professionals through its FoSTaC and FSSAI’s Management Training Program. The programme is designed to promote a culture of food safety and equipping industry professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to uphold the highest standards in daily operations.
