New Delhi, May 27th, 2026- ibis, one of Accor’s most trusted and fastest-growing hospitality brands, has announced the appointment of Vijayalakshmi P V as Director of Sales at ibis Kochi City Centre and Rathiesh Krishnan as Director of Sales at ibis Coimbatore. The appointments were made in Kochi and Coimbatore as part of ibis’ strategy to strengthen its commercial leadership across key southern markets in India. The move aims to enhance sales performance, deepen corporate and local market engagement, and drive stronger revenue growth in both cities by bringing in experienced hospitality professionals with strong regional expertise and proven sales leadership capabilities.

At ibis Kochi City Centre, the appointment of Vijayalakshmi P V brings continuity and renewed momentum to sales leadership. With over 12 years of experience, including 8+ years in hospitality sales, she returns after being part of the pre-opening team as Sales Manager, contributing to market entry and positioning. She most recently served at Kochi Marriott Hotel as Assistant Director of Sales and has also worked with Novotel Kochi Infopark and Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty. Her experience includes Ernst & Young as Senior Consultant and recognition as a Presidents Club-winning SaaS Senior Account Manager. An IIM Kozhikode Executive MBA graduate, she is expected to strengthen market positioning, corporate engagement, and revenue growth.

At ibis Coimbatore, Rathiesh Krishnan joins as Director of Sales with 17+ years of hospitality experience, focused on the southern market. He has worked with leading hospitality brands including Hyatt, IHG, Ramada, Savera, Rain Tree, and ITC Hotels, with strong exposure to corporate and group business. In his recent role with Hyatt as Senior Sales Manager, he handled key accounts, drove revenue growth, and built long-term client relationships. His expertise includes corporate and group sales, contract negotiations, revenue strategy, and market analysis, along with experience in conferences and events. He is expected to strengthen corporate sales, expand key accounts, and improve market share..
