Ludhiana, Punjab (May 18, 2026) – Hyatt Regency Ludhiana announced the appointment of Debjeet Banerjee as General Manager. In this role, Debjeet will be responsible for overseeing overall hotel operations, positioning, sales, strategic growth initiatives, and administration. With a strong focus on profitability and long-term value creation for owners and stakeholders, his vision remains clear: “A great luxury hotel for guests and a great workplace for employees.”

Over the course of his career, Debjeet has held leadership roles with some of the industry’s most respected hospitality brands, including The Park New Delhi, Taj Lands End Mumbai, Taj Palace New Delhi, and Grand Hyatt New Delhi. He is recognised for his strong operational acumen, focus on team development, and ability to build high-performing teams while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

He will report to Lokesh Sabharwal, Regional Vice President- Operations.

Debjeet has also played a key role in hosting prestigious international events such as the G20, B20, and Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2023, welcoming global leaders, heads of state, and senior government officials. He is a graduate of International Institute of Hotel Management and holds a Diploma in Hotel Management, along with a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of North Bengal. He has also earned professional certifications in Strategic Finance and Strategic Marketing for Hotels from the Cornell School of Hotel Administration.
