21st April 2026, Bengaluru, India – JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa is pleased to announce the appointment of Subhajit Chakraborty as the Director of Catering Sales, further strengthening its leadership team as the property continues to elevate its position as a premier destination for luxury events, weddings, and MICE experiences.

With over 13 years of rich experience in luxury hospitality, Subhajit brings deep expertise across MICE, large-scale event planning, revenue management, and luxury resort sales. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving catering sales strategy, expanding the hotel’s MICE footprint, and enhancing its positioning as a preferred venue for high-profile social and corporate events.

Prior to joining the property, Subhajit served as Director of Convention & Events at Hotel Yak & Yeti, Kathmandu, where he played a key role in repositioning the hotel, strengthening its presence across Indian and Southeast Asian MICE markets, and driving revenue from the Indian wedding segment. He also briefly held the position of Director of Catering Sales at JW Marriott Kolkata, where he led strategic growth initiatives.

Subhajit’s career includes significant tenures with renowned hospitality brands such as The Leela Palace Bengaluru and JW Marriott Jaipur Resort & Spa, where he successfully managed large revenue portfolios, led multi-city sales teams, and contributed to pre-opening and positioning strategies for landmark properties. His experience spans managing extensive banquet operations, handling key corporate accounts, and delivering high-impact events across diverse markets.

Known for his strong leadership and strategic mindset, Subhajit has consistently driven revenue growth while building high-performing teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences. His expertise in handling large-format events and luxury weddings aligns seamlessly with the resort’s vision of curating bespoke, world-class experiences.
