Throughout his career, Wajeed has led several high-profile hospitality projects, playing an instrumental role in the successful launch and sustained growth of award-winning properties in Dubai, UAE. His extensive experience spans luxury hotels, serviced residences, and extended-stay hospitality, where he has consistently driven operational excellence, enhanced guest experiences, and delivered strong commercial results.

Before taking over as General Manager of Marriott Executive Apartments, Bengaluru UB City, Wajeed was at the helm of Oakwood Premier Prestige Bangalore. Having successfully led the property for several years, he played a key role in its evolution and transition to Marriott International’s portfolio as Marriott Executive Apartments, Bengaluru UB City, ensuring continuity in service excellence and guest satisfaction.

A graduate of the prestigious General Manager’s Program at Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, Wajeed is also recognised for his contributions to quality and talent development within the hospitality sector. He has served as a Team Leader and Assessor for the Dubai Quality Award and Dubai Human Development Award in association with the Department of Economic Development, Government of Dubai, reflecting his commitment to fostering excellence across the industry.
