Hyderabad, India, 17th August 2026 – The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace is pleased to announce the appointment of Amit as General Manager. A seasoned Marriott International leader with over 15 years of hospitality experience, Amit brings extensive expertise in commercial strategy, business performance and stakeholder management across diverse markets in South Asia.

Amit joined Marriott International in 2013 as Revenue Manager and has since progressed through leadership roles across Bengaluru and South Asia. In his most recent role as Senior Director, Revenue Strategy – South Asia, he has led commercial strategy and business performance for a portfolio of over 150 hotels across India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan.

Throughout his tenure, Amit has played a key role in driving revenue growth, strengthening market share performance, and partnering with General Managers, owners, and regional leadership teams on strategic business priorities. His experience spans several significant milestones for the company, including the Marriott-Starwood integration, pre-opening and positioning of multiple hotels and resorts, post-pandemic business recovery, and most recently, the launch of Series by Marriott brand.

Drawing on his extensive experience across markets, brands and business environments, Amit will now bring this strategic perspective to hotel leadership at The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace. In his new role, he will focus on strengthening the hotel’s business performance and market positioning, while driving operational excellence and creating exceptional experiences for guests and associates.
