According to information shared by Union Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw in the Lok Sabha, Indian Railways has dramatically improved operational safety through increased spending, expansion of the indigenous Kavach Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system, better track maintenance and modern signalling infrastructure.
